Family Readiness Officer Training
Training available for paid unit civilian Family Readiness Officers or appointed military deputy FRO. The unit Family Readiness Officer, whether civilian or military, is the appointed person for each unit that is tasked with ensuring the families of a particular unit are ready to embark on their military career. The FRO is also the point of contact for initiation of all command communication and interaction of all families within the unit.

Command Team Training
Training designed to familiarize all members who are part of a unit Family Readiness Command Team with an overall understanding of what Family Readiness at the unit level entails and how it is supported as well as the roles and responsibilities of each member of that team. The members that make up the unit Family Readiness Command Team include the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Family Readiness Officer, Chaplain, Sergeant Major, Family Readiness Advisor(s), spouses of Sergeant Major and Commanding Officer.

Family Readiness Volunteer Training
Volunteers who support and assist the unit Family Readiness Program will have very definite positions with specific job descriptions and unique training for each position. Individuals can volunteer in the capacity as a Family Readiness Assistant to assist the FRO or as a Family Readiness Advisor serving as an advisor on Family Readiness and be part of the unit Family Readiness Command Team.
