NOW - December 1

Enter to win at your local MCCS Club or restaurant. Each installation will hold a drawing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners on December 4th. Winners will recieve MCCS gift certificates and merchandise. The first place winner from each installation will be entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize drawing on December 11th.

November 1st - February 1st

Learn how to lose & maintain your weight over the Holidaysin the Winter Weight Loss Challenge!

Sign up at the East Gym.

Prizes will be awarded to the biggest 1st, 2nd and 3rd place losers for both men and women!

Weigh in any time every Monday between November 1st thru February 1st so your progress can be tracked.

LINKS for spouses is here! Unit sessions can be booked at any time. All classes will be held at the L.I.N.K.S. House located at Bldg. 696T, across the street from the MCCS Home Store. For questions, or to register for a session please call 830-1696.

November 18 &19
5pm

Put your gaming face on! The NCO club will be hosting a video game tourney on November 18th at 5pm, while Excursions Enlisted Club will be hosting a game tourney night on November 19th at 5pm. Mortal Kombat, Tekken 6 and Call of Duty will be played. There will also be drink specials, and at the NCO club there will also be wings!

Come on down to the Desert Winds Golf Course and enjoy the annual Turkey Shoot! This event will be on Friday, November 20th, with show time at 8pm and tee time at 9pm. There will be four person scramble teams and you may sign up as a team or individual. Cost is $35 and includes greens fee, cart, range balls and food. You could also enter to win a turkey!

On December 1st the MCX will be hosting another great SMP Shopping Night! There will be free gift wrapping and easy access to UPS Shipping services to get these gifts home. There will also be a scavanger hunt and prize drawings!

Noon - 3pm

Your childrens favorite superheroes and villians will be on site on December 5th at the home store from noon until 3pm. This is a free event for children of all ages.

Overseas Connection

Overseas Connection is a PCS workshop for anyone with orders to any military installation outside of the Continental United States. We’ll discuss pay and entitlements unique to living overseas, such as Cost of Living Allowance and Overseas Housing Allowance. We’ll also discuss pet importation and other helpful moving tips. Representatives from IPAC, TMO and Housing will be available to answer any questions. Single and married active duty service members and dependents are invited to attend.

Welcome Aboard Workshop

You’ve made it to the desert - now what do you do? The Welcome Aboard Brief will tell you everything you need to know about life aboard MCAGCC. We’ll tell you about the different activities and services available to you on the base. You’ll also learn about the surrounding communities. From Twentynine Palms to Palm Springs, to Vegas and San Diego, we’ll tell you everything you need to know for life in the high desert! Door prizes will be awared.

Youth Tumbling
Saturdays from 8:30am - 1:30pm

Ages 3 to 12 - Beginner & Intermediate levels

Initial cost is $35 and includes shoes, t-shirt and 4 classes each Saturday for one month. Following cost is $25 for each additional month’s classes.

Registration will begin day of preview, June 6th at 9am. Space is limited for each class, so register early.
